Lauren grew up in the small city of Troy, North Carolina. After graduating college, she moved to High Point, North Carolina, where she met her husband, Doug.
In 2013, Lauren moved to the Lowcountry for her husband's job and started her career as a paralegal. She first gained experience at a small firm downtown specializing in criminal and personal injury law. After having her firstborn in August of 2014, Lauren decided to return to work and accepted a job at a large PI firm specializing in personal injury and workers' compensation. She now has two daughters, Lindley and Presley, and a Boykin Spaniel, Dierks.
